SYRACUSE, NY (September 11, 2023)  —  The NFL kicked off its 2023 season this past weekend.

The season started on Thursday with an opening night matchup between the defending champion Kansas City Chiefs and the Detroit Lions, a team many have picked to make the playoffs for the first time since 2016.
